Trouble creating task via SMS
nomoore says:
I am trying to create a task via SMS from my cell phone. Sprint is my provider. My phone is a Samsung Rant.
I can create an SMS message and send it to an email address. I can enter a line feed character. When I sent it to my personal email it did not have a subject. It did not have any signature. It looked like it was formatted correctly with each part on a different line like this:
T: Do this
D: Monday at 9am
However RTM just reads everything after the T: as the task name. It evidently doesn't recognize the line feeds that my phone creates. I have tried putting two line feeds as suggested in another post. That doesn't work either.
Does anybody have suggestions as to what I can do to make this work?
Thanks,
Nick

Hey Nick.
So, I've been trying to figure out a way to add a task WITH a tag via SMS for a while. I THINK the problem is your provider. I read another thread on the forums this morning that said you can add S: yourdesiredtag, but I think this only works for Verizon phones. I've got T-Mobile, so I think I'm in the same boat. :(
I THINK this is right. Maybe an RTM'er can verify. Best of luck.
