dependent tasks

Hello,
Not sure if this is something that is available, but I haven't been able to find it through my searching on the site:
I'd like to link tasks so that the completion of a 'main' task is dependent on completing the tasks under it. Is that possible?
Thank you.

Not as such, however you can create a list or use a tag to "collect" a group of tasks together. But that would effectively be only a two-level hierarchy (i.e. "this list/tag—'task'—depends on these underneath it), so that might not be as granular as you're looking for.

This would be a very nice feature. I do not see it as project management. I see it as 2 to 3 items of competing one task.

This should be referred to as heirarchical tasks, not dependent tasks. Dependent tasks are when the first one in a chain of tasks is complete, the next one in chronological sequence comes onto the list. When that one is complete, the next one appears, and so on.
