Smartlists/Tabs for Published Lists?

rickymolina says:
Is there a way to search for lists that someone published to me, create a smartlist for those tasks, etc?

I've set up an RTM acct for my husband and published a couple of my lists to him. He wants to see my tasks on his BlackBerry (awww... he's so helpful!), and he wants me to set up an iGoogle page for him that includes an RTM gadget where he can view both of our tasks for the day. My guess is that he will only rarely sign into RTM, and that he will _never_ sign into both his RTM acct and open the link to my published lists. How do I get them all in one place for him?

What I'm thinking of is a way to sign into my husband's acct, create a tab (i.e., a new smartlist?) that shows the tasks I've published to him, and save it as "Kim's tasks" so that he can view my tasks alongside his own lists.

Is this possible? Any other ideas?

Thanks!

This is definitely possible; I have a setup almost exactly as you describe with my wife (where I tell her to put anything she wants me to do, at any time :).

The only thing that I think may be missing is the idea of publishing the lists to him, reason being that RTM sees publishing as a way of showing a read-only view separate from the viewer's account. What it sounds like you want to do is to share these lists with him. (Steps in our Help pages.)

Once you share those lists, he'll automatically see anything new added to them, and be able to add anything to them also (which you'll then see), so it's a really nice setup for tasks either/both of you can do. :)

Hope this helps!
