RTM FF extension does not auto-hide when viewing conversation
glen.coates says:
Just noticed that this behaviour now seems to be broken. Have restarted FF, cleared cache and all that good stuff and now I notice that the task pane does not automatically hide itself when you click to view a conversation, so the tasks are overlapped on top of the ads that Gmail shows on the right hand side.

Now that you mention it, I've seen the same thing here in the past day or two, but it didn't quite "register" in my consciousness. Not a biggie, but, yeah, new behavior.

I too am noticing this, i've had to hide RTM as a result because now i cant read a lot of my emails.

Kind of annoying though because it also obscures the links like "open in new window" that appear to the right of the conversation view.
Hopefully this can be fixed soon.

Just wanted to note that we're currently investigating this (Google appears to have made some significant changes to Gmail's code).
I'll post on the status blog when we have an update -- I apologise for any inconvenience in the meantime. :(

Version "11131139" is currently supported (and noted on the status page). If you encounter a new version number or experience another issue, it would be great if you can submit a Gmail issue report.
Thanks! :)

I noticed that if I have either the "Integrated Gmail" add-on or Greasemonkey script installed, the RTM add-on stops auto-hiding when I open a message. Removing/disabling that add-on/script and the RTM add-on is back to normal.
