Connect tasks with Google Calendar events Doesn't Work

I am using the firefox plugin and the "Connect tasks with Google Calendar events" doesn't seem to be working. I have event "Emily's Birthday" enetered on my main google calendar but the RTM plugin never seems to pick it up. I have "Auto-suggest my events from Google Calendar when creating tasks" enabled. I am using Google apps for domains, and the gmail version is "10621529", the calendar is set to public.
