How to conveniently create a task while visiting a smart list
dfm says:
Is there any way to create a new task while looking at a smart list, without having to go find it again?
Here's the scenario, and problem:
- imagine I'm looking at a smart list; maybe it's constructed with a date comparison, or a tag, or both, something like that
- I want to add a new task, which will be made a part of this smart list; that is, I'll need a new task, and I'll be adding a date and/or tag to it that will make it match the smart list criteria
- I add a task
- but there's no way to add the tag or date until I've hit return on the name of the task
- but as soon as I've hit return, the task is not part of the smart list, and so goes away, and I have to go find it again to tag/date it
Is there any way around this problem, short of leaving the smart list before adding a task, that I know will end up back in that smart list when I'm done?
