Time Zone Problem
jalm1 says:
I am really enjoying the new iPhone app. However, i seem to be noticing a problem with time zones. By default i am in GMT -5, but travel a lot, and am currently in -7. It appears that when i am in another time zone the tasks gets shifted a day. Since i moved earlier, they have been brought foward a day. ie, a task that i had due on friday (today) is now showing as past due yesterday. tasks that are normally due on sunday now appear due on saturday, on the iphone app as well as the web site.

I had problems with this, too -- with the same exact situation actually (-5 to -7, etc).
It seems tasks without time should not use time (and thus time zones). That is, 11/29/2008 is the same no matter what tz you are in.

Also have problem with this (-6 to -5). Tasks entered on phone with tomorrow due date show up as due today on web RTM.

Unfortunately the app doesn't currently support shifting timezones; when a due date is set in one timezone, the task will be due at the start of that day (i.e., midnight) in that timezone.
We'll be looking into providing support for shifting timezones in the future -- I apologise for any inconvenience.
