That's really unfortunate since it means that you can't sort tasks into a FIFO.

Task start dates as well as due dates would be a really useful enhancement IMO. I have a number of tasks (e.g. getting the car MOTed) that can't be done until a particular date has passed, but which must be completed by some later date. It would be nice to be able to filter out such tasks from the task list until I can actually do something about them.
