SMS Reminder O2 Germany

I'm don't receive reminders via SMS.
Is it possible to use the reminders with my provider O2 Germany?

There was another post already at http://www.rememberthemilk.com/forums/help/3862/#forumpost, but didn't really help me.
Has somebody more details about this problem?

O2 should be able to provide you reminders of RTM. Can you send yourself an email to test the SMS functionality of O2?
