search for due today = nothing

i did a search for all tasks due within 1 day of today and got nothing, yet there are tasks due today and tomorrow and yesterday. they show up as such on the 'overview' page.

I also fed the Google calendar with the events URL from a list with tasks with due dates and they didn't show up. Yes the calendar is activated in Google.

Is there some bug with the database server not finding tasks?

For me, dueWithin:"1 day of today" shows all tasks due today, and dueWithin:"2 days of today" just shows tasks due today and tomorrow (but not yesterday).

To show everything overdue, due today, and due tomorrow, this workaround seems to do it:
dueBefore:today or dueWithin:"2 days of today"
