Editing Smart Lists - Any tricks to exclude without NOTs?
vanweerd007 says:
I create two smart lists:
notwaiting = NOT tag:@waiting
and
@office= tag:@office list:notwaiting
I was hoping that adding to tasks to @office would inherit the @office tag, but it doesn't. It does with a real list- e.g.
@office=tag:@office list:Inbox
Basically, I'm looking to get exclusions into my smartlist and still allow inheriting of attributes. Since NOT and OR are considered ambiguous, I thought I'd try the above, but no luck.
My final thought is to use a real list to capture exclusions- e.g, the Inbox. However then I need to remember what list to move to later.
Any thoughts?
