Organizing Strategies ?
I am a RTM neophyte and would benefit from suggestions re the best way to organize projects and task into RTM.
Lets use my house for example.
Per my wife, I have a large number of house projects to complete.
1) Install stairway into attic
2) build a storage room into attic
3) build out the garage
4) clean out the basement
Each of these tasks have many components.
Take the attic stairway for instance. To complete this project, I need to
1) identify which stairway to purchase
2) cut hole in ceiling and make necessary adjustements to the attic's floor joists
3) install stairway
4) insulate the top of the stairway so that the attic is insulated when the door is closed
etc.
In your opinion, what is the best way to enter all of these tasks and sub-tasks into RTM?
Thank you !

Take a look at the blog of RTM , specifically:

This is a system based on 'Getting Things Done' , a popular strategy for organizing things. It might not be your holy grail, but it will sure give you some ideas on how to set things up.
