is there a way to mark a task as completed in the iPhone interface?

Hi bobmurdoch,
Indeed there is -- to complete a task on the task list screen, tap on the 'Edit' button on the top right of the task list. Blue check marks will appear to the left of task names; tap on a check to select that task for completion, then tap the 'Complete' button.
The 'Done' button on the top right will exit this mode. This feature allows you to quickly complete multiple tasks in a list, without having to access each task's details.
Hope this helps!

Helpful, but not very intuitive...

I agree, the edit button was not very intuitive. I think a different word would have helped me find it on my own. Other wise great implementation on the iPhone.
