Repeating tasks not Repeating

I have two tasks which are repeating everyday. But unless I go and mark a task as COMPLETE, it does not repeat next day. I have checked several times, I have chosen to REPEAT a task EVERY 1 DAY. Not sure why it is treating it as REPEAT AFTER.

I am facing this problem from quite long time, earlier reported to support also but no answer. Can anybody here please help in case you fixed this issue somehow. It is frustrating as current behavior means if I don't attend to repeating task everyday, it will stop appearing for future days so I end up missing it.

If you don't do the task the first day, do you really want two tasks the next day? That way you'll probably end up deleting one of the two instances but only one is repeating, if you delete the wrong one you're in trouble ;-)

More than likely, since it is clear the poster is fully aware of the difference between REPEAT EVERY and REPEAT AFTER, and has chosen the former option.
