Create new task via external application (e.g. Sunbird)

Hi,

I would like to use rtm for organizing my tasks.
Nothing unusual about that.
But because I use it for my calendar, I would like to use Sunbird for my tasks, too.
A desktop application is just this little bit simpler to use.
So I would like to add tasks to my rtm account via Sunbird.
Is there any way to get this working?
