there's something wrong with the overview...

maljub01 says:
I have a task set to be due at (2 Nov 07 at 12:00).. and i am posting this at (2 Nov 07 at 21:24) which means that this task is overdue... In the Tasks section.. this task is shown with an underline (as expected).. however, in the overview, this task appears under "today" and not under "overdue"...

btw.. my time settings are set to 24 hour clocks.. so the 12:00 means 12 noon....

also.. why is there no section to post bug reports by the users???

i hope you fix this soon...

Thanks

maljub01, thanks for reporting this.

Would it be possible to double check to make sure that your timezone setting in Remember The Milk matches your system timezone on any computers where you use the site (and that these computers are up-to-date with any daylight savings changes)? It's also important to check the location of the timezone to make sure that they match.

Thanks!

I just checked the time zone settings and they seem fine... I also checked the time displayed under the top-left menu and it is also the same as the time that my computer reports..

I also tried to add a new task, called it "test" and set its due date to "4 Nov at 13:00" (the time now is: Sunday, November 4, 2007 | 17:07) and the task was shown as overdue on the tasks page but when i went to the overview page it was shown under "Today" not "Overdue")...

Hi -
I'm still having a similar problem.
I have a task that was due today (11/4). I have checked it and postponed it to 11/6.
When I click "overview" it doesn't show up as due today.
When I click "weekly planner" it shows up as "overdue" with 11/3 date.
Then when I click on tasks, it has magically reverted to bold and due 11/4.
This has happened several times today.
HELP!

dncfellows, it looks like some of your tasks are one or two hours out in RTM -- do you access the site from multiple computers/devices?

Would it be possible to double check to make sure that your timezone setting in RTM matches your system timezone anywhere that you use the site? It may also be necessary to make sure that these computers are up-to-date with daylight savings changes.

Thanks!

maljub01, if the task is due anytime today, even if it's technically 'overdue' (as in, it might have been due an hour ago), it will show on the 'Today' list. The 'Overdue' list only shows tasks that were due before today.

Hope this helps.
