IS team are driving me nuts

ARRGGHH,

RTM is now officially blocked by our IS team and their firewall under the category 'Productivity and other software'.

I've been using RTM for over a year and now can't get on the site using my work computer. Been told to use the company solution 'Outlook'.

Bemused by this as sites like Facebook continue to be accessible in work, whilst sites that are categorised as 'productivty' are blocked.

Am I the only one working for such an insane company?

Maybe you can access RTM through a proxy server? My son's friends use it at school to access sites that are blocked by the school IT policy.

After a couple of weeks of pressure, IS have relented and I can now access RTM at work. :)

Good for you! Interesting that they categorised it as 'producivity' and then blocked it. One would think that all sites NOT categorised as such would be blocked ;-)
