The mobile apps offer a share extension to grab websites and drop them into a new task. The macOS desktop app offers this too (by extension).
All versions of the desktop app offer Smart Add for Desktop, which you can initiate with a keyboard shortcut. You can copy a link and paste it into the Smart Add window (or the Add Task bar in the app) to save it in your added task.
