Reminders for shared tasks

My reminders work fine for tasks that I've created, but I don't get any reminders for tasks that have been shared with me. Shared tasks show up fine, but the reminders don't come. Is there a specific setting to get reminders from shared tasks?

Currently it will send the reminder to the original owner of the task, but we'll look into supporting this option.
