blacksir, is this problem still happening? We couldn't find any problems on our end, but we've restarted all of our Google Talk stuff so hopefully that may fix this.

It works now. Seems like the problem was on the Google side. Today once or twice I've seen this message on Gmail embedded chat interface: "We are experiencing technical difficulties..."
