MilkSync?

rlieving says:
What's up with MilkSync? I installed it on my PPC6700 and the sync came up. It appeared to sync.

However, the following problems soon showed up:

1. There were no shortcuts registered to program in the programs folder. Therefore, the only way to navigate to your program is to use the file manager and then create a shortcut manually.
2. Where is the milk? I don't know where the tasks went. Is there some application? Do they go into Pocket Outlook? What am I missing? At this point, I really cannot find a use for this program.

Your instructions for installation are complete. Everything after that is...well...non-existant?

All-in-all a disappointing start to MilkSync.

Ok...I see that the tasks are in my Pocket Outlook. But how come they are not coming down into my regular Outlook. What's up with that?

Found the shortcut in my programs file now.

Sorry :( Looks like the problem is solved.

Ok...I am back. I tried a simple update for overdue tasks on my Pocket PC. I now have no overdue tasks on the PPC. But after syncing, these changes are not being picked up by the website.

Additionally, the overdue tasks are not coming down to my PPC. So, I have essentially lost my overdue tasks.

I apologise for the unclear instructions -- we'll work on improving the MilkSync webpage.

MilkSync will sync with the tasks app that comes on your Windows Mobile device (it should be listed as 'Tasks' in the menu).

Would it be possible to let us know more information about the problem that you're experiencing? Please feel free to contact us and we can work to diagnose the issue over email.

Any information that you can provide would be helpful, but in order to investigate this we'd need to know the following:

1) What kind of data was on your device prior to syncing? Were there non-RTM tasks, and approximately how many were there?

2) What steps did you take to sync, and what was the result?

Thanks!
