Bad encoding in mobile reminders

didaio says:
I use Ukrainian language in my tasks. But in mobile reminders I see bad symbols instead of Ukrainian language.

For example:
1. ppjappGpjap pjappJIpGp pjapppjappja lj_ukrainian

didaio, thanks for letting us know. Can I ask who your mobile provider is, and which phone model you're using? Thanks!

I use MTS-Ukraine (http://www.mts.com.ua) with email-to-phone gate (http://www.mts.com.ua/eng/directory_sms.php#3) and Nokia 6230i.

Thanks for these details. Do you happen to know if your provider will accept mesages in UTF-8, or if it's possible to specify this encoding on your phone?

I don't know about provider, but I can read reminders from Google Calendar. And I can't change SMS encoding on my phone.
