SMS reminder : add Virgin Mobile France (Orange)

nohant says:
Hello,

To start I would like to say that I love Remember The Milk and I use it every day for my work and my life.

In the droplist for France there is only SFR but in France we have three networks : SFR, Orange (which is used by Virgin Mobile France) and Bouygues. Is-it possible to add Virgin Mobile France (Orange) ? It's work perfect with Google Calendar so it will be cool if RTM provide support for Orange also.

Kind Regards,
Nohant

Nohant, do you know if the other networks in France support email-to-SMS? If you can let us know the email address to send our reminders to (e.g. for Cingular in the US, it's yourphonenumber@cingularme.com), then we can support these networks too. Unfortunately if a network doesn't have a free email-to-SMS service, we're not able to support reminders for that network at this time. Thanks!

Google Calendar actually uses a different method to send SMS reminders (they are paying to send the messages directly via SMS, rather than using the email-to-SMS services), so unfortunately we're not able to support the same networks unless they have email-to-SMS.

nohant,

you can "share" the list w google calender...and receive the reminder w sms for that particular "task list" from google instead...

you get much more info in the reminder from googles calender than from RTM's mail's reminder, so you can set up different kind of filters depending of what kind of reminder you want (this is for email)
