Problems with tasks when sharing lists

I have shared a List with one of my contacts but when we add Tasks to the list the other person still can not see them unless we share the specific task.
Is this the correct functionality? It seems like all tasks in the shared List should automatically be shared with the contact I have shared the list with.

Bobby, would it be possible to check if the user who has received the shared list has accepted it? More details are available here. Each task in a shared list should be accessible by each user (it shouldn't be necessary to individually share tasks).
