Problems emailing tasks from a blackberry
andrew.horton says:
I can't seem to get RtM to process tasks sent from my blackberry either using the long form (Due) or the short form (d:). Tasks still get added, but not in the right list, or with any of the other info.
Anyone have a similar experience? Is it a blackberry setting that I need to adjust?
Thanks!

Andrew, if you can send us an example email from your BlackBerry to [old address removed] then we'd be happy to check why this isn't being processed correctly.
One thing to check: if your email automatically contains a signature or disclaimer, you can include '-end-' on a line by itself, and everything after this line will be ignored. Otherwise, it may have trouble processing your email (and your task details may end up as a note).
Hope this helps.

Sent you the email. I also forwarded over what the body content gets turned into, if that helps at all.

Hi Andrew,
Just to confirm. I'm using a BlackBerry 6700f and it works wonderfully with RTM. I manually add the -end- to the end of my messages using an autotext I setup in Blackberry so I type rtmend
I use the following formats all the time and they work great:
d: today
l: personal
p: 2
-end-
I don't know if that helps at all. But I can confirm that it works on a Blackberry.

I have the same problem on an 8700. Used -end-, etc but the due date/time just gets added as a note

Andrew, thanks for sending this -- we're checking it out. If anyone else has emails that aren't processing correctly, please send an example to [old address removed] and we'd be happy to see why it's not working. Thanks!
