RTM Crashes on Windows Mobile

emmfan says:
When I first open RTM mobile page it works fine on Pocket Internet Explorer, but when I press the link to a tasks list, then it loads and crashes the program and phone. Any ideas?

emmfan, thanks for reporting this -- this sounds like a strange issue.

Would it be possible to try clearing your browser's cache and cookies and see if this makes a difference?

If not, could you please let us know the version number of the browser? It may also be worth checking if there are any software updates for this browser, in case it has a known issue.

Thanks!

I tried clearing the cache and cookies. I am using Pocket Internet Explorer for Windows Mobile 5. There are no updates available. The problem still occurs.

Thanks for letting us know.

We'll see if we can get hold of an emulator for Windows Mobile -- unfortunately without access to a phone running this, it may be tricky for us to test. Are there any other Windows Mobile 5 users here? I know other WM5 users have posted on the forums previously, so someone else may have more experience with this than us.

In response to your request, I tried out Remember the Milk on my HP ipaq Pocket PC running Windows Mobile 5 with Pocket Internet Explorer. The login page loaded but told me that I was not using one of the supported browsers. So, I doubt that this feedback of mine will help you at all. Anyway, as far as I'm concerned, I don't care whether Remember the Milk works on my Pocket PC or not. Best wishes.

I tested it some more and strangely it is only on the Today list that the program hangs and crashes my device. The rest of the pages load fine.
