Can I add Start Date to the default view of task

cclaypool says:
I am looking to see if I can alter what is shown on the task list per task. Right now, it only shows the due date, but for me, it is important to see the start date too. Is this possible?

Yes, in the app's Settings (in the General section in the web/desktop app) you can enable "Start date" under the default fields. Then it will show up in each task even when it is not set.
