Smart lists with criteria A and B

How do i us criteria with and in a smart list meaning both criteria have to be true for the task to meet criteria for adding to the list.

I tried Tag:A and name:B
The results included items that were tagged A, but the name did not = B

As jennifer.goslee mentioned, this should work as expected, so the case may help.

And depending on your example you may want to add quotation marks to the name too, for example:

name:"Call Bob" AND tag:A
