RtM is blocking my OS from auto-suspend

Hi,
if i am logging into RtM my pc does not suspend anymore after inactivity. I have closed all other apps, extensions, pages, etc but the culprit is RtM.
This is the case in Vivaldi, Opera and the native app. All on Ubuntu 16.04 xenial 64 bits, Desktop: MATE 1.12.1, Kernel: 4.4.0-83-generic x86_64 (64 bit).
Is there a setting, option, workaround for this. It is quite annoying.
