Sharing lists between workers and customers
I would like to have some opinions on my use of work-related RTM. Is there some features I have missed here?
We have several customers and are a couple of co-workers. Each customer can have several tasks active at the same time.
For myself I have one list called something like "Customer tasks", and tags for each customer. Then I have smart-lists for each customer where I can see the tasks linked to that customer.
I need to:
1. share tasks with my co-workers
2. update the customers on which tasks are active and which are completed
I understand that you can not share a smartlist, that's a pity. Would you recommend splitting tasks into one list for each customer and then share each list? This could mean quite a few lists... Or maybe one shared list for each co-worker. Customer tags from all the lists would be visible in a smartlist. Then the "print"-option also will show which co-worker is working on the task (if the naming of the lists is reasonable).
I have tried to use an atom-feed for my smart-lists. I thought this could be nice for our customers - subscribe to the atom-feed and get feedback on how the work progressed. I'd hoped this worked so that there would be a new feed every time there was some change in the tasks, but it doesn't seem so. Not even when you complete a task.
