Estimated time incorrect, doesn't account for repeating tasks

Hello, I love the estimated time feature. But, let's say I have a task that repeats every day that is one hour. I want the weekly estimated time to account for this and add 7 hours to the sum. Is there a way to do this? Is it a feature that needs to be fixed? I find that it is impossible to use both repeated tasks and estimated time together without this being fixed. Would love to hear how you think I can resolve this. Thanks in advance.

This is something that will happen based on how repeating tasks generate; they won't generate out beyond the current instance + one future instance.
