Adding a contact phone number to a task

Is there a way of adding a phone number from 'Contacts' on an iPhone? Just clicking the number in the task to call would be great. I think I can do it with a note by pasting the number in but assigning a number from a contacts list would be more elegant.

Yes, you can do this by copying a number into a note, but another method is not currently available.
