Recurring Item Notes Disappeared

I have a recurring task with notes (instead of creating subtasks, I just use the note field). Each day when I complete the task it gets scheduled for the next day and was working great.
Today, however, my recurring task is missing the notes. I went to completed tasks to see if they were somehow removed from there; they are on all of my completed tasks.
I noticed that my recurring task shows that it was last modified on the Android app. Is there a bug with repeating tasks and their notes on Android?
