Complex search not working

Can anyone help me with the following syntax for a complex search.
When I search using,
tag:deluca AND (status:completed OR status:incomplete)
Results only include completed tasks
My goal using this search is to create a smartlist to review with my manager each week, so it would be helpful to see completed and incompleted tasks with his tag

That search should include both incomplete and completed tasks; you may want to look at both incomplete/completed tabs. (Both won't show in the same view.)
If that doesn't work, could you contact us with some more specifics? We'd be interested in knowing which app you're using, as well as getting a screenshot (which you can attach in a reply) if available.
