Newbie needs help with understanding repeats

I'm setting up a task list to help my son track the things he needs to do and also to see the overview of what needs to be done daily.
How do I set up a "studying for test" task?
Let's say he has a test on next Tuesday and he wants to study every night through Monday night.
I set up a task "Study for Tuesday Test" with a repeat "Every 1 day until Tuesday"
I see the task for today, but it doesn't show up on tomorrow's todo list.
What's the best way to handle this situation?
Thanks!!!
Dawn

Hi Dawn,
Today's task will be the only one that appears until it is completed, then the tasks will repeat every day. (You'll see the current task and the next one each day.)
It'd also be an option to create the task for tomorrow, and then when tomorrow arrives the next task would be generated. (Our rule of thumb is to create the task for the first time you'll complete it.)
This behavior occurs because repeating tasks are generated when the due date/time arrives.
Hope this helps!
