I'm not sure if Optus has changed anything recently, but it used to be possible to configure the Optus Zoo email alerts service by going here.

To only forward emails from Remember The Milk to your phone, under the "Send Some" option you can specify that only emails from "remind (at) rmilk.com" be sent to your phone. (Note that Optus charges for this service -- I think the pricing is on that page.)

I just tested this service out myself having never used it. I punched in all my info at optus zoo and set up the remind email address from RTM but with the test I did I got my usual email reminder but no SMS. Sorry if this is a retarded question but in the RTM settings do I set my number as starting with 61 then the rest of the number minus the first or do I just punch in the number as it is? As it stands I just entered the number as normal. If what I am doing is right I guess the issue is with Optus. If possible could anyone let me know that the manner in which I have set it up is correct.

gmonty, it should just be your mobile number (no 61 necessary). If you can contact us with the name of a task that you expected to receive an SMS reminder for, we'd be happy to check this out and see if the reminder is being sent out on our end. Thanks!
