homepage gadget to desktop?

I read somewhere that homepage gadgets could be added to google desktop*, and I tried following the instructions, but nothing came up in my desktop gadget search for RTM.

Help?

michael.stewart, the Google Desktop search seems to work intermittently -- it may work if you try it again later (unfortunately we don't have any control over this as it's on Google's end).
