Repeating task postponed, now I have 2 copies of it.

Hi,
Today (Aug 17) I postponed a task that repeats every monday. The task was correctly set to next monday (Aug 24) but when I went to my list I saw that I had 2 copies of the task, both set to Aug 24.
Is it because I postponed a task that repeats?
Thanks.

Hi limamedeiros,
Yes, postponing a task that repeats "every" week/Monday/etc. will mean that there are two instances of that task: the postponed one and the next one.
You may prefer to use "after" instead of "every", as that will only generate the next one upon completion. If you postponed your task due "after Monday", that one would be due later and no other instance would be generated until you completed it.
Hope this helps!
