Laptop and iPhone not syncing completely

(closed account) says:
I just noticed I have more tasks in my phone than I do in my computer. I have pro. I synced several times on both devices. I deleted the app and reloaded the app. I turned the phone and laptop off and restarted both... no change. Bottom line is there are tasks I have deleted that are still showing on the phone. Any guesses why?
