Database file (rtm_db-wal) is huge! (~8MB)

The file rtm_db-wal in /data/data/com.rememberthemilk.Mobile.RTM/databases/ is 7.87 MB, which is ridiculous. I tried uninstalling RTM, and then deleting all the files in the data directory, then reinstalling, and then for a little while the files were nice and small (less than half a MB I think), but now it's got huge again.
This is a problem because I'm seriously low on System Storage space, and am close to having so little that emails stop syncing.
This is a bug, yeah? I only sync 2 weeks of completed tasks, and according to the "About" section of the settings I only have 47 tasks synced, surely the database of those tasks (if that's what this file is) can't be that big!
