Forum markup?

Does the forum support any markups such as bbCode?
e.g.
[url=http://www.rememberthemilk.com/help/answers/basics/keyboard.rtm]Shortcuts[/url]
[b]bold[/b]
I like to leave links linkable.
I already found that you strip at least some html in messages.

It supports some HTML tags -- I don't think we have a list anywhere (we should probably add one), but it supports basic formatting tags (e.g. bold, italic, underline) as well as links.

Ummm, Emily.
I remember now why bbCode was implemented in the first place. Avoids side effects of bad html in message text.
I just managed to trash a relatively long message with a html error (typo). After previewing, I could no longer click in edit box, that just transferred me to the link in the message.
No big, I can write the message again (offline in text editor).
However, suggest enhancing forum software to automatically enable well formed bare links.
e.g.

This will avoid the copy and paste to address bar that is currently required.
