Tasks with time to live

Take vitamins for example. If I don’t complete it for a couple of days, my due tasks list will have multiple Take vitamins tasks. Is there a way to automatically set tasks to expire after due date?

One improvment is to have the tasks repeat after 1 day/week. That way the tasks duplicate only after you complete them.
Unfortunately, there's no way to have the task autocomplete, but you could use smart lists to automatically hide overdue tasks, at least with the tag #reminder.
