Can I refuse a task that someone shares with me?

(closed account) says:
I have a co-worker who creates repeating tasks and shares them with me. He never marks them as complete so now they are cluttering up my overdue list. Is there a way to refuse his shared task so I don't have to see it anymore?

I don't want to cut him off completely because there are non-repeating tasks he creates that we need to share.

You can't currently refuse to share an individual task. Sorry for the inconvenience. You do have the option to accept or reject a shared list.

In the meantime, you may be able to create a Smart List to see only the tasks that you want from your contact. For example,
sharedWith:[USERNAME] AND isRepeating:false

This would show all non-repeating tasks that were shared with him.

Hope that helps!
