Rooted Nook Color

I am unable to get it to either sync with an existing account or create a new trial account using my Nook Color. I can get it working with my Droid 1 phone, Google plugins, Windows Gadgets, etc. For some reason RTM and my NC aren't playing nice and I've been waiting a little over a week to try to get this fixed with support, but I haven't heard anything yet, so I figured I would post this in the hopes other users might have some insight or are having the same problem.
To make sure I'm being clear - I have the full android market on my device and I am able to install just about any app that I have on my phone onto my nook. The only issue I have run into was the size of the display and the remember the milk app failing to work.
Steps I have taken to troubleshoot:
I was able to create a new free account and then access that account on my computer, so I know my nook is able to communicate with your servers using your app.
I also tried putting in a password that was not correct and it tells me I didn't enter a correct password and username. When I change it to valid credentials, it shows a syncing progress bar at the bottom of the screen, then takes me back to the login screen with all fields blank.
I also tried changing my password to see if that changed anything.
I did make sure there were no spaces after the username or password when entering information.
Here is the process I followed (using the autonooter method) to root my nook:

I just wanted to add that I'm also having the same issue as described above.

same here. connects to RTM no problem using browser

Are others having issues with the wrong time zone being displayed on web browser version of RTM when accessed through rooted nook color.
I'm in Central time but it always shows an Australian time zone. Makes it very difficult to see "today" tasks.
Thanks

Same issue here as well. I log in, syncing begins and gets near completion, but locks up at the end and never finishes.
I also used autonooter.
I also used autonooter.

I am also having similar problem. Is there someone in development I can pass on a adb logcat output to that can help debug the issue? I would really love to get this working on the NC.
Thanks
Thanks

Same issue for me. the green bar is full along the bottom of the screen, but I get a spinner and "Syncing"

Not that it's much help, but having the same issue. It doesn't look like there is any kind of work being done to fix the issue.
Have anyone tried this using Honeycomb on the NC?

I had the same issue but was able to get RTM working on my rooted Nook color. There is a B&N 1.1 update that has also been rooted. I downloaded and installed the rooted B&N 1.1 update on top of my my rooted nook color (autonooter), and after rebooting, RTM works perfectly. This also solved the issues with the stock B&N library sync and shop apps not working. A google search should help you find the rooted B&N 1.1 update file with instructions. A caveat, I rooted before the B&N 1.1 update came out, if you rooted after you applied that update, the steps might not work.

+ 1 with this problem.
Absolutely distraught - everything else works fine with my rooted Nook Color so far, but RTM is a major part of my life. I can't understand why this wouldn't work. I just get the "syncing" forever bar. *sob*
I, too, am using the Autonooter root kit. 1.1.1

erinjeffreys, are you using 1.0.1, or 1.1? I don't think there's a 1.1.1 as of right now...
erinjeffreys says:
JWhite,
They're calling it autonooter 1.1.1. at the site I used. *shrug*

I have the BN version 1.1 and used autonooter. I have the same problem as all those above. I'd love to get this working!

I'm having the same issue. It just sits at 'syncing' and never completes.

Add me to the list as yet-another RTM diehard with a rooted Nook Color. Just doesn't appear to sync. I noticed that some of the app permissions appear to imply that the app uses phone features... I wonder if that's the problem (as the nook color is NOT a phone). That being said, I would think that would also be a problem on the CDMA Galaxy tab devices.

Anyone install CM7 and test out RTM? I'm planning on trying that out this weekend, since i've read on XDA that CM7 runs quite smoothly now.

Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! to labrown2!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I've been annoyed about RTM not running on my NC for months now. Installed Clockwork Recovery and updated to 1.1 and it works!!!!!! I also was on an automootered 1.0.1 NC. Much speedier in general and RTM works great!
wardslw- I can't see why it wouldn't work. CM7 is my next move after bluetooth gets stable. I will post back when that happens.

Update-
I'm running CM7 nightly builds and RTM is working great. I can't recommend CM7 enough, some great work by the community.
