Show tasks of the same year

i would like to have a search option which allows to search for a task with a due date in the same year.
ie:
due date 31.5.2011 will be found only in the year 2011.
dueAfter:1.1.2011 will do it, but not for repeated tasks. :-(
Is there such an option? If not, it would be really great, if it can be implemented.

dueAfter:1.1.2011 would probably be the best way for this (possibly dueAfter:1.1.2011 AND dueBefore:1.1.2012 if you have too many tasks in future years); how does this not work for repeated tasks?

if the task with due date 31.5.2011 repeats every year, "dueAfter:1.1.2011" will not work for due date 31.5.2012, because it is after the 1.1.2011. I have to edit the search option every year … The option I would like to have is to set the year of dueAfter to the year of the dueDate automatically.
