Push Sync Not Working

jgariano says:
I recently updated my Android RTM app, and the new push sync was working for the first week or two. But today it no longer appears to be working. I tried resetting my phone but it didn't fix it. Is this a known issue on the server end? Or is something not right with my phone?

Same problem here. If i change things on the rtm website, these changes are not synced to my mobile device. But if I change, delete or add a task in Android, this is instantly synced to the web interface.

Over the past 24 hours, Android push syncing has experienced delays unfortunately (syncing was still happening, just not as quickly as it should have been!). These delays have now been resolved and push sync is working on schedule once again. We've posted an update on the status blog. Sorry for the inconvenience!

If you experience any push syncing issues in the future, please let us know. Thanks! :)

Same thing's going on with me, here - actually, I seem to have every problem everybody's reported so far, all at once. The app will sync once, no matter if it's set on timed or push, and only sync one item, then force close and then it never works again, it just keeps saying it's syncing forever.

I did a factory reset on my phone to see if it was something on my end (MyTouch Slide) tonight, apparently not.

Works the other way just fine, BTW - items added in the Android app show up in the web version.

Same problem here; items added in the app show up online, but not the reverse.

If anyone is having any further problems, would it be possible to submit an Android app issue report via our support system, if you haven't done so already?

Just select your issue from the list on the left, and follow the steps shown. If your issue isn't listed, click on "I'd like to report a new issue".

Your report should provide all the info that we need to investigate further, but we'll be in touch via email if we require any more details.

Thanks!
