task w/multi-day duration on Google calendar

Hello,
When a task has a "3 days" or "48 hours" duration, it will still only show up on the Google calendar on the first day. Is there any way to either 1)make the Google color bar stretch across multiple days or 2) have the task show up under the check-mark drop-down list on each of the days?
Or do I just need to make a separate entry for each day?
Thanks!
Karla

Hi Karla,
It's not possible to have a task over iCalendar show up on multiple days; this is because iCalendar doesn't use the time estimate when listing events.
You could make the event repeat over three days—"every day until 3 days from today"—which should show in iCalendar, but may not in the daily gadget (the checkmark).
Hope this helps!

Still having trouble with this: In the "repeat" field it says "every 1 day until Fri 7 Jan 11." But it shows up over and over and over (forever?!) in the color bars in iCalendar. Any idea why it can't read the end date?

Hi Karla,
Sorry, I misunderstood what you're seeing; I've added this to our list to investigate.
