@ideas1 double check that you are using the full webcal url and not just the www.rememberthemilk.com url. I read the same post as you and had troubles as I mostly looked at the pics and didn't read the page carefully enough the first time.

You need to use the webcal url for each RTM task list you'd like to copy into evolution which is available in the List tab on the right of each list.

If that's the case, you could also use the URL for the All Tasks Smart List if you want all tasks.

It works, my suggestion is to set it up and then go and do something else because results are not always immediate.

Tasks: go to RTM inbox and copy the link of icalendar, add it in evolution under tasks,NewTask List->On The Web

Tasks due date in calendar: go to RTM inbox and copy the link of icalendar EVENTS, add it in evolution under Calendar->On the Web.

Tasks shows up in the day they are due, integration with other gnome apps that use evolution as backend work ( eg you find task by clicking on the clock of the gnome panel).

Use the icals with private addresses (domain.com/ghaerhgeoahhearhv), be patient and make tests with more than one tasks, it seems that for some reason you must kick it and punch it a little to make it work

The good news is that it sort of works on Ubuntu 10.10 using Evolution 2.30.3. It shows your tasks and updates automatically.

The bad news is that it only displays your tasks in Evolution. You can't update them (ie complete them) from evolution.

Here's how I did it:

Open evolution
Select "Tasks"
File --> New --> Task List
(New Task List window opens)
Type --> "On the Web"
(Set Color, Default List, Copy Locally as you prefer)
URL: "caldav://whatever_list_you_want.ics"
check ssl (may not be required, but why not?)
username: RTM username
Hit OK
Enter RTM password when prompted
New task list should appear under "On the Web"

If RTM had full integration with evolution, I would pay for a pro account in a heartbeat. (I know, I should get one anyway. I will, one day.) I imagine since us evolution users are a very small percentage of the RTM userbase that this will never make it to the top of the list.
