Shouldn't reminders be set at a task level and not for the whole account?

Reminder settings apply to any tasks with due dates -- unfortunately at this stage it's not possible to set particular reminders for individual tasks (or lists).

I agree with the previous remark; I put due dates on most of my tasks but I only need reminders for a few of them.
