Settings tasks due on their repeating dates

Say I wanted a task to repeat every tuesday, thursday and saturday. Setting the task to repeat on those days is easy enough, but how do I set the due date?
If I set the due date as tuesday, then when I complete tuesday's task does it automatically set the due date to thursday?

Yes, that's what it will do; the repeat basically determines the "next" task's due date.
